Sywell Air Scout Group is RAF recognised. This means we have been assessed by RAF personnel to rigorous standards, and have proved that we deliver a consistently exciting and fulfilling Aviation programme to our young people. As a result we have access to RAF bases and resources.

Royal British Legion (RBL) affiliation

Our Merlin Cubs, Air Scouts and Spitfire Air Explorers regularly support Royal British Legions events, and undertake fundraising activities so we are proud to have gained RBL affiliation.

The Royal Air Force Association have also recognised our commitment to youth in aviation and awarded us affiliation for the work we do alongside them.

Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs (NAYC) affiliation

As a member of Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs (NAYC) we enjoy the benefits of being able to use Benham Sports Centre and their national network of residential educational centres. Our members are able to enjoy residential courses on leadership, fun sessions including roller skating and rock climbing and educational seminars on important matters such as e-safety.

We were delighted to awarded NAYC Group of the Year 2018, with our Assistant Group Scout Leader Ellie Doak also being awarded a Distinguished service award.
