Reach for the Sky! - RAF STEM Event

Scouts and Explorers from 1st Sywell were invited to run a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) stand at RAF Wittering  - Launching rockets!

The Scouts were instructed in how to make paper rockets and use the equipment by RAF Wittering's STEM & Youth Warrant Officer, Steve Poulton.

The Scouts then ran the stand, teaching other young people to launch rockets.

We were joined by our affiliated Royal Air Forces Association Branch committee, who were also visiting the event.
